Fantasy Football Without Waivers
Every fantasy player knows the 3am waiver claim, the Tuesday priority math, the backup running back who got scooped by the one league mate who never sleeps. Waivers reward whoever treats fantasy like a shift job. If that is not your idea of fun, this page is for you.
Why waivers exist, and why we deleted them
Traditional fantasy rosters are built from individual players, and players get injured, benched, and traded every week. Waivers are the patch for that fragility, a whole bureaucracy so managers can keep repairing their rosters. FantasyLite removes the fragility instead: you draft four whole NFL teams, and teams never get dropped, benched, or poached. There is nothing to patch, so there is nothing to claim.
Draft once, done for the season
One team from each of four tiers, balanced by preseason win projections. After the draft, your roster is locked and so is everyone else's. Your weekly score is the real points your four teams put up in their games, plus a +10 bonus any week you beat the Phantom, the AI rival in your league. The standings settle it over 18 weeks.
What you do each week instead
Watch football. That is the whole assignment. Open the app on Sunday and the Weekly tab shows your teams' live points climbing while the games play. No lineup deadline passed you by, because there are no lineups. No one outbid you overnight, because there is nothing to bid on. The person who wins your league is the one whose draft reasoning held up, not the one with the most free time. It is the purest version of the easy fantasy football idea.
Fair for busy people, still fun for die-hards
No-waiver fantasy keeps casual friends competitive into December, which keeps the group chat alive, which is the whole point of playing with friends. And the die-hards still get their edge where it belongs: on draft day, arguing tiers. Full rules live in the Help Center.
