Does everyone in the league have to pay?+
Nobody has to pay. Joining is free, playing is free, and creating a league is free too (one per season, up to 6 players). FantasyLite Pro at $9.99 a year is an optional upgrade for commissioners who want bigger leagues, more than one league, or in-app draft scheduling.
What if I don't have friends to play with yet?+
You can play Solo vs Phantom any time of year, no friends needed. In friend leagues, the Phantom fills an open slot so a league is never empty.
How is scoring calculated?+
Each week your score is the combined real-world points your 4 NFL teams scored in their games. Beat the Phantom that week and you add a +10 bonus. Highest cumulative total across the season wins.
What is the Phantom?+
The Phantom is an AI opponent that takes one slot in your league and drafts 4 of the leftover NFL teams. It gives every league a built-in rival to chase, and beating it each week earns bonus points.
Do I have to manage my team during the week?+
Never. There are no lineups, no waivers, no trades, and no add/drop. You draft 4 teams once, then enjoy the season.
Can we start a league after the season has started?+
Yes. New leagues can be created any week of the season, and scoring simply begins from that week for everyone, so the race stays fair. Most fantasy apps lock this down after Week 1; FantasyLite never does.
