How team-based drafting works

All 32 NFL teams are sorted into four tiers of eight, based on preseason win projections. Every player in your league drafts one team from each tier: a contender, a strong team, a middle-of-the-pack pick, and an underdog. Nobody gets to hoard the favorites, and every roster has a lottery ticket.

Each week, your score is the combined real points your four teams score in their games. The season is a cumulative points race across all 18 weeks. Bye weeks even out because everyone has them, and there is no waiver wire because there is nothing to manage.

Why whole teams beat individual players

Player-based fantasy lives and dies on injury reports, snap counts, and coaches lying on Wednesday. Teams are sturdier. A star can sit, but the franchise still plays, still scores, still counts for you. Your Sunday becomes four games that matter instead of a stat feed to refresh, and you never bench the wrong guy because you never bench anyone.
